1. Eligibility: You must be at least 16 years old to use EduExplorer. If you are under 18, you may only use EduExplorer with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
2. Services EduExplorer connects high school students (“Students”) with current college students (“Mentors”) for academic mentorship, college application support, and general educational guidance. Mentors do not provide professional, legal, or medical advice.EduExplorer reserves the right to modify or discontinue any part of the Services without notice.
3. User Accounts. To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, complete information and secure your login credentials. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
4. Payments & Subscriptions EduExplorer offers paid mentorship plans. Payment terms will be presented at the time of purchase. All fees are in U.S. dollars and are non-refundable, unless otherwise stated . Subscription plans renew automatically unless canceled before the next billing cycle. You may cancel your plan at any time via your account settings or by contacting support.
5. Code of Conduct Users agree to: Be respectful and courteous to mentors, students, and staff. Use the platform for educational purposes only. Do not share inappropriate, abusive, or offensive content. Do not attempt to exploit or misuse the platform.EduExplorer reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this Code.
6. Mentor Guidelines. Mentors are expected to provide honest, supportive, and age-appropriate guidance, maintain student confidentiality, never guarantee admission outcomes, and never engage in academic dishonesty (e.g., writing essays for students).Violation of these guidelines may result in removal from the platform.
7. Privacy. Your use of EduExplorer is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
8. Intellectual Property. All content on EduExplorer, including logos, designs, text, videos, and materials, is the property of EduExplorer or its licensors. You may not reproduce, modify, or distribute any part of the Services without written permission.
9. Limitation of Liability EduExplorer is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the Services. While we strive to offer accurate and helpful guidance, we do not guarantee specific academic or admissions outcomes.
10. Indemnification. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless EduExplorer, its officers, employees, and partners from any claims, damages, or legal disputes arising from your use of the Services.
11. Changes to Terms. We may occasionally update these Terms. If we do, we’ll notify you via email or the platform. Continued use of EduExplorer after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing Law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, without regard to conflict of law principles.
